About the Author: Gene Pisasale

Gene grew up in Wynnewood on the Main Line outside Philadelphia. After graduation from Bucknell University, he went to graduate school at The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology and later at San Diego State University, earning an MBA Finance. Gene is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), having worked as an energy analyst and a portfolio manager for 24 years. He retired from the investment industry in 2010 to pursue his writing career and lecture series. He is a member of the Chadds Ford Historical Society, American Friends of Lafayette, Friends of Brandywine Battlefield and is an approved speaker for the Delaware Humanities Forum. A lifelong history buff, he has traveled to many historic sites, including Gettysburg and the ‘Liberty Trails’ of Boston and Philadelphia. Gene is married and lives in Kennett Square, Pa.
